Help to keep The Dogs Paddocks safe and fun for everyone!

* When we say "your dog(s)" below we refer to any dogs that attend your booking.

Before you book

  • Last bookings: The last booking time is 30 minutes before closing time which is typically 21:00 but may vary by location or area.
  • Payment: Payment can be made via credit/debit card or Apple/Google Pay through our website.
  • Cancellation: If a user arrives late, the booking cannot be extended and no refunds will be given. However, you can amend your booking with more than 24 hours' notice by clicking "Manage My Bookings" at the top of this website (PLEASE NOTE at times this may change to 1 hour's notice due to extreme weather conditions).
  • Parking: If you choose to park on site, you do so at your own risk. The Dogs Paddocks accept no responsibility for any loss or damage.
  • Maximum number of dogs per booking: This varies from field to field - Adlington 4, Lower Whitley 6, all other fields 8 (PLEASE NOTE the maximum number of dogs is PER BOOKING so includes all dogs that you take with you to the field, even if some of them remain in your vehicle at any point).
  • Maximum number of dogs per adult: No more than 6 dogs are permitted per adult (aged 18+).
  • Vaccinations and flea treatments: In line with veterinary advice, we recommend that all dogs visiting are up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments.
  • Collars, harnesses, and ID tags: Dogs must always wear a collar or harness and ID tag. Choke chains, prong collars, and other such devices are not permitted.
  • Verbal and physical abuse: Verbal or physical abuse towards dogs or other users will not be tolerated.
  • You can reschedule via Manage My Bookings on our website up to 24 hours before your booking. This is reduced to 1 hour during extreme weather like heatwarves and when the ground is wet and slippery underfoot. We do not offer refunds unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case please email the details to info@thedogspaddocks.co.uk.

when you arrive & leave

  • Upon arrival, please drive directly into the parking area and close the gate behind you.
  • Only then may you remove your dog(s) from the vehicle, or you may walk your dogs on a lead into the field and close the gate behind you before removing their leads.
  • It is the responsibility of those using the field to allow enough time at the end of their session (approximately 5-10 minutes) to get their dog(s) on a lead and out of the field, and to remove their car from the secure parking area so that the next user can enter on time (PLEASE NOTE if the customer in the field before you is late exiting and this impacts on your session please email the details to info@thedogspaddocks.co.uk and we will investigate - please don't extend your own session as this will have a knock on effect for other customers for the rest of the day).
  • Dogs must be on a lead when not in the secure field.
  • Dogs must remain in the owner's vehicle until the previous user's car has left the field or they have got their dog(s) into their vehicle in the parking area.
  • Do not enter the field if the previous customer is still in the field.
  • Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking. Many of our customers have nervous or reactive dogs, and cars arriving may upset or disturb their session.

while you're with us

  • You are responsible for your dog(s) and any others you bring with you.
  • Do not leave your dog(s) unattended.
  • Do not allow your dogs to dig or bark excessively.
  • Do not shout excessively.
  • Clean up after your dog immediately. Please use the poop bags supplied on the perimeter fencing and dispose in the specialist bins provided.

  • Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. Areas may be muddy in wet weather.

BSL affected dogs

If your dog breed is subject to restrictions under BSL (this includes Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasiliero, XL Bully), they are welcome at our 6 secure locations subject to the following requirements:

  • You must let us know and upload your Public Liability Insurance Certificate when you make your booking.
  • You must also provide your Certificate of Exemption when you make your booking.
  • The dog must be neutered in line with government rules.
  • The dog must be micro chipped.
  • The field must be locked using the padlock provided so the dog cannot escape.
  • The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until you have entered our secure field, closed the gate and secured the padlock - you can then remove the lead and the muzzle.
  • The dog must be put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field.
  • If you have more than 1 dog (with only 1 banned breed in your household), they can come to the field together, as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field, including the banned breed dog.
  • If you have more than 1 banned breed dog in your household they can come together but each banned breed dog must have its own handler (aged over 16).
  • If you visit the field with a banned breed dog and dogs from different households, the banned breed dog will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a minimum of 1 handler (aged over 16) per banned breed dog (NOTE we have contested this with our insurers and are waiting to hear back).
